And lastly, I remembered this case report 'Reversal of signs and symptoms of a B-cell lymphoma in a patient using only low-dose naltrexone'.
All the best,
B.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29228825.post-83954242083797255362012-05-20T05:58:11.867-04:002012-05-20T05:58:11.867-04:00Thank you! In my own search for information about cancer treatments I came across a few approaches that might possibly be of interest. I want to stress though that I have *no* personal experiences of these approaches, and don't personally know anyone who has done them. (The person for whom I was looking tried a different approach, which was helpful but ultimately not enough.) So the approaches are: Coley's toxins, also known as Coley fluid; hyperthermia and chemo/thermal chemotherapy as offered at the Hyperthermie-Tagesklinik in Bochum, and presumably elsewhere too; a combination of low-dose IL-2 and melatonin as documented in the study "A phase II study of neuroimmunotherapy with subcutaneous low-dose IL-2 plus the pineal hormone melatonin in untreatable advanced hematologic malignancies"; and some people seem to have found low-dose naltrexone helpful. At the same time, I know that palliative care can be exellent and that treatment isn't always the answer. Still, I regret not having known of these approaches sooner myself, so wanted to mention them just in case... while, as I say, recognising that I *can't* vouch for their effectiveness. Best wishes, B.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
